(06) FAQ
Straight answers before you book.
Payment terms, damages, contract lengths — the questions we get asked before every placement.
All questions
01 How much can we realistically save compared with booking platforms?
Most projects land between 15% and 30% below platform pricing. The saving comes from two places: the service fees that platforms add (typically around 15% combined), and the long-stay rates available when booking directly with hosts. Use the calculator for a quick estimate — your firm quote reflects live rates for your location and dates.
02 How does invoicing work?
You receive one consolidated invoice per month covering every property and every crew member, broken down by project. We include your PO number and cost codes so finance can process it without chasing receipts. Standard terms are 14 days from invoice; extended terms are available for approved accounts.
03 What is the minimum contract length?
Our minimum placement is 4 weeks. After the initial term, stays roll on a weekly basis so you can extend or wind down as the project schedule changes — just give us 14 days notice.
04 What happens if our project dates shift or the crew size changes?
It happens on every project, so it is built into how we work. Tell your account manager as soon as you know and we adjust the booking, add or release rooms, and update the following invoice. Changes inside the notice window may incur the property’s agreed cancellation terms, which we always share with you up front.
05 Who is responsible for damages and house rules?
Every placement is covered by a conduct and damages agreement signed by your company. Properties are condition-reported at check-in and check-out, and WorkingHomes coordinates any repairs or issues directly with the property owner — so your team never has to.
